A 20+ year dental veteran, Dr. Othman believes that a welcoming atmosphere is just as important to our dental practice as the quality of our clinical care, so he’s ready to make sure that you feel comfortable right from the beginning of your relationship with us. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
For Dr. Othman, becoming a dentist was a dream come true. He says that helping people improve their health and enhance their appearance while forming meaningful relationships with them is a passion, and it never stops being rewarding.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Othman’s dental education started in Iraq, where he earned both his bachelor’s degree in dentistry as well as a Master of Science in Restorative Dentistry. Over the decades, he has gone on to complete countless hours of continuing education around the world, including courses on root canal therapy, dental crown and bridge treatment, and more.
He is also very active in organized dentistry and is a member of the:
- Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario
- Halton-Peel Dental Association
- Ontario Dental Association
- Canadian Dental Association
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Othman is married, and he and his wife have two beautiful girls. When he isn’t at the office, he likes to stay active by playing basketball and swimming.
